Swedish parent company
Swedish ownership of European cloud infrastructure
Svenska Moln AB builds and stewards long-term, sovereign digital infrastructure in the Nordics — from physical data centers to the services our customers depend on.
About the company
A Swedish limited company built for the long term
We were founded in Sweden to answer a strategic question: how does Europe retain control over the digital infrastructure that society relies on? The answer is an independent Nordic parent company with clear ownership, local operations, and technical decisions anchored in the European market.
Our portfolio
Brands operated by Svenska Moln AB
Svenska Moln AB is an operating parent. Each brand we build has a clear strategic mandate and its own market identity — but shares the same foundation in sovereignty and long-term thinking.
Frostmoln
European cloud platform
Our first operating business — a complete cloud platform spanning compute, storage, networking, and managed data services. All data is stored within the EU/EEA, operated from Nordic data centers, and billed transparently in euro.

Four principles that guide every decision
Sovereignty
Ownership, operations, and technical control remain in Europe. No non-European parent companies, no extraterritorial exposure.
Long-term thinking
We build for decades, not quarters. Investments are measured in operational endurance, not exit valuation.
Sustainability
Renewable energy, Nordic climate for free cooling, and environmental management aligned with ISO 14001 and 50001.
Transparency
Published prices, open governance, and clear contracts. No hidden clauses, no surprise terms changes.
Sustainability
Nordic climate advantage as a strategic asset
Our geography is not a coincidence — it is a foundation of our business model. The Nordics give us renewable electricity, natural cooling, and political stability few regions can match.

Incident and continuity plans
Business continuity per ISO 22301, documented incident processes, and reporting to MCF within mandated timeframes.
External audits
Recurring audits of technical, financial, and environmental controls. Results are shared with customers under confidentiality.
